Thank you for visiting I Am Collective.

Our goal is to reinvent 'Being Out' as a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender (LGBT) person through the innovative use of on-line Mentoring, Talking with Peers and Self Representation.

By doing this, we believe LGBT people, working as a real community can:

• prevent a person from turning to a life of substance abuse.
• empower another to make better choices.
• prepare youth who may be kicked out of their home for being LGBT.
• help isolated people realize that they are not alone.
• encourage people to become mentors to others.
• reveal the heroes or heroines in LGBT history.
• train people to become leaders.
